The speed of the leader is the rate of the pack—Why the holidays are the best time for building your Xyngular business



If you're already financially free, you may be able to take a lot of time off during the holidays, but I we guarantee there are members of your team who can't. If your Xyngular business has been growing or you have high expectations for its growth, you'll need to be out there swinging it into action in all the days surrounding the holidays...starting with Thanksgiving.

Now, we're not suggesting that you work Christmas Eve. Enjoy your family. But certainly, don't take December off or you'll have a negative rebound effect in January. What you plant in December, you'll reap in January. If you want a huge harvest in January and February, work it hard now.

Here's something that has worked well for many of the best leaders in this business. See if it will work for you and your team.
You can get ahead of your team's "slow-holiday" thinking by doing a little personal development with them. It will work on your thinking too. 

Let's start with a story. Whenever my mother could predict that I might whine or beg for something at the store, she'd get ahead of it by saying, "you know, I always hate to hear those kids who are always begging and whining for whatever they see. It always makes me not want to buy anything for my kids." It would stop me cold. Do you think I'd ever whine and beg? Not a chance. I knew my mom would be more generous if I didn't. And she was.

Tell a story from your own experience, then say, "I feel that way about people who hate to work the holidays. It's the best time of year for me. People who take time off are really shooting themselves in the foot because it takes the whole first quarter of the next year to get their momentum up again.

"One thing that will drive you crazy this time of the year is when people say, 'I wish I could get started now but the holidays are going to be really stressful and expensive.' 

"If you'll work with me hard during the next few weeks, I'll show you how you can identify those people who are really willing to make the necessary sacrifices to build a huge Xyngular business. The holidays are the best time for that.
"Here's what you do. You talk about how great the holidays are for contacting people when they're at home. They're inside because it gets dark earlier during Daylight Saving Time. They're not worrying about going to work the next day. They're more relaxed and open. They're actually in a holiday spending mood after Thanksgiving.

"They know they're going to need some extra money in January and February to pay off what they spend extra on the holidays, and you have a way to work with them and help them get it. 

"It's not a secret that that January is the biggest month of the year for our business. People are thinking about weight loss big time in January, and you don't want to lose the valuable holiday time when you need to get new people trained and ready to go for January. 

"If you'll work hard now, your next November and December will be the best you've ever had. The holidays are always easier to handle if you have some extra money. And Xyngular is a great way to get it."
A little motivational speech like that will work wonders for yourself, your team, and your January/February income. 

ACTION STEPS:
1. Prepare a motivational conference call or team meeting early in December to discuss this article.
2. Schedule time with your team for 3-way calls and opportunity calls during December. No one should work alone during December. Schedule times and make it happen.
3. Get your lists together, practice overcoming holiday objections, and go to work. You'll find who your most committed leaders are.

Cash for the Holidays!


Xyngular is excited to announce the Cash for the Holidays promotion, which will put extra cash in your pockets just in time for the holidays!

To earn the cash, Distributors will need sign up new distributor enrollees with an inception order of at least 120PV. For every 3 new distributor enrollees that you sign up with an inception order of at least 120 PV, you will earn $50.00 cash! Xyngular® and the AmaXING weekend after Thanksgiving


We don't know what you'll be doing the long weekend after Thanksgiving, but smart Xyngular Distributors will be spending a few serious blocks of time on the phones doing 3-way calls. Why? Because that's absolutely the best weekend of year to be working your Xyngular business. 

What's on people's minds? Are they thinking about how much they ate and what it's going to do to them? Are they secretly worried about the upcoming December holidays and all the extra pounds they'll be packing on? What if they could CHEAT or XYNG™ at their holiday parties? How are they going to pay for all the extra holiday expenses? There are so many urgent problems you can solve with your Xyngular opportunity and products.

If they think too long...they think wrong
Here's the number one objection you'll get during the holiday months: "I can't right now because of the holidays. They're too stressful. I don't have it in my budget to get started. Call me after the holidays." If you let people sell you that excuse, you'll spend your January chasing leads that mostly won't work out. 

Instead here's something that could work very well for you if you're talking about the opportunity. You say something like this. "I understand. Most of us live throughout the year with a basic income and a budget. During the holidays we have extra expenses and stress because of travel, gifts, dinners, and parties. Most of us overspend our budget during the holidays, then we have to deal with the extra expenses and finance charges in January and February or even longer.
"What is the very best time of year to be in the weight loss business? January...right? Now is the very best time of year to get trained. I have a few hours every week to work with you now. I won't have that kind of time in January." 

Even though people's intentions are well-meaning, and they do want to get back with you after the holidays, almost 100% of them will find a similar excuse in January. Thinking too much throughout the holidays about all the reasons they couldn't possibly do this kind of business will give them a load of excuses. It's much better to get them resolved now. If you allow them to think too long...they'll think wrong and never join. 

Where are all the toys now?
Here's another approach for those who have concerns about budgeting money for getting started with the 360 PV where you want them to enroll.

Tell them, "I understand. But someone asked me once, 'If I gave you a million dollars, would you be able to gather together all the toys that were under your tree last Christmas?' For me...not a chance. Many were broken the week after Christmas, and most found their way to the garbage early in the year. 

"I thought about that this year. Would getting started right at Xyngular cost much less than those broken toys and have much more lasting impact on my family and our future?" Then you could tell your own story about paying for the broken toys in January and how much less the Xyngular opportunity costs. And you make money to pay off the toys in January and February. "I had to make a change. I had to ask myself, 'When are we going to stop this cycle of spending and breaking toys but not really changing anything?' Does that make sense?" 

Holidays...the best times for building Xyngular
People who celebrate Christmas will be out shopping. They'll be spending less time watching TV and more time with family. You may find it harder to reach some people, but it will actually be easier to reach others. Not everyone celebrates the way you do. In the days surrounding the holidays, parents are at home taking extended vacation time. Friends who are taking time off may be more willing to spend relaxed time talking to you. From December 21st through the rest of the year are golden days for your business. Take advantage.

1. Plan conference calls with your team to discuss the holiday issues and role play the approaches in this article.
2. Schedule time with your team for 3-way calls every single day. Never work alone during this critical time of year. If you discuss the ideas in this article with someone else and work with them consistently during the holidays, you'll have a wonderful January.

Want a recession-proof job? Think Xyngular.



Recent articles in USA Today and the Wall Street Journal are suggesting that more and more people are choosing home based businesses. Why? Two reasons: (1) In today's economic times, we need to take charge of our own future. Jobs, pensions, 401Ks, Social Security are not really as secure as we thought. (2) There's always a demand for independent marketers. Your application for a distributorship will never be turned down. Demand for supplemental incomes has never been greater. And, as we are seeing in more and more Xyngular testimonials, many supplemental incomes are becoming the main household income.

The perfect timing
We all know the old Wall Street saying that when the market is down...buy, and when it is up...sell. Doesn't it make sense to apply that saying to the network marketing industry? When the economy's down...build, and when it is up...you'll enjoy the rewards of a residual income. 

Right now, while more people are looking than ever before...is the perfect time to build your home based business. People all over the world are looking for secondary incomes. The Internet makes it easier than ever. And Network Marketing, when there's plenty of support, is the best answer out there. 

Businesses that everyone thought would never fail are failing--banks, the automobile industry, and construction, just to name a few. Play where the growth is. Xyngular is growing in a spectacular way. Our industry is becoming more and more respected as professional people are building residual household incomes part-time. Network Marketing is a multi-billion dollar industry. It is here to stay. 

The 4 "Cs" of a great Network Marketing business

Because Network Marketing is thriving right now, there are many opportunities. How do you pick the best ones? Here's a common measure called the 4 Cs. 

1. Consumer Demand. Is there demand for energy and weight loss? Will people need it on a continuing basis? Does it fit in today's market? Will you enjoy sharing stories about it with others? Does the look and feel of the company demonstrate an image you'll want to put your name and reputation on?

2. Compensation Return on Investment. What is the return on your time and investment? Is the training simple enough that you can be up and making money within days, not months? Ask to talk to people like yourself. Ask them questions about what they had to invest to be profitable and making a great income. Do you believe it can work for you?

3. Corporate Structure. Who's in charge? What's their experience in the industry? Talk to someone who has met the management. The Xyngular corporate team travels constantly and brings leaders in to the corporate office for Sundance Retreats. It's easy to get a first-hand testimonial of the reputation of those running the show.

4. Cash Flow. What's happened in the short time Xyngular has been in business that would indicate that they are solid, profitable, and growing? Ask about actual growth and profitability. Ask about international expansion. Look for signs of great management. Have they been overspending on elaborate things that don't produce solid profitability? What signs are there that they live within their means and have dependable cash flow? You'll find that Xyngular has exceptional answers for all these questions.

When you pick a company, your reputation and name are on the line. The people you enroll will be counting on you and the company for support. Your commitment will affect lots of other people's lives. 

Are you right for Network Marketing and Xyngular?

At Xyngular you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Our systems are proven to work for the right people who go to work, usually part-time at first, to make it happen. 

But just because you have a great company with great product s and great training doesn't mean that it's right for you. You'll need an attitude that says, "there's no joy greater than helping others achieve their dreams." When you have that perspective, you'll love what you do. It won't feel all that much like work. 

You'll still need a serious business plan, and you'll need to stick to it. Xyngular has a support system in place to help you put it together. When you're doing what you love and helping others, you'll be living your life to the fullest.

1. As you read through this article, there were names that popped into your mind. Contact them. Send them the article or share ideas from it with them. See what they think.

2. Use the 4 "Cs" in your stories about Xyngular. Craft stories of your own based on your experience and experiences of those in your upline. 

3. As you're talking with people about enrolling in Xyngular, use some ideas from this article as "take aways." Many people will respond positively if you "take the opportunity away from them" by seeing if they "qualify" as a good candidate just like they have to see if the company "qualifies."

How to maximize the impact of your dream board




The purpose of your dream board is to create strong emotions within yourself that will drive successful behaviors. You want to strongly and creatively see your future acted out before your eyes as you look at your board every day.
Jim Carrey wrote himself a check for $20 million and kept it in his wallet until he actually earned it. You can do the same with an amount that matches your goals and add it to your dream board.

If you still have some weight to lose, clip styles of clothing you'd like to be able to wear from magazines and paste your head over the head of the model. Go to a car dealership and ask the salesperson to take a picture of you in your dream car. Put yourself in a picture of a vacation spot you're longing for. And write a caption under the picture describing in lots of detail the thrill of being there.

You can do the same with headlines about people you admire. Paste your name in place of theirs. Or write your own headlines about yourself. You want to add as much detail and rich, sensory elements as possible. Use passion, emotion, and enthusiasm and avoid anything you don't want.

What about a dream MP3 recording? You can create a cell-phone message you listen to describing your vision and dreams. You can record it on your MP3 player and listen to it in the car or as you relax before sleep at night. Use your most enthusiastic, passionate radio-announcer voice. 

Remember, your purpose is to live these dreams and create the emotions of actually experiencing them. 

How to use your dream board
At least twice a day, stop, look, read, and drink it all in. Let yourself experience the emotions of everything on the board. Let yourself feel the emotions of being in each picture and enjoying the satisfaction of accomplishing your dreams. 

An important caution...
You may, at first, feel that some of this is foolish or false. Don't fight these reactions. Simply thank yourself for the input, then replace the criticisms with the positive emotions. Think of it as creating your own movie. It's all made up anyway to empower you and get you off the couch and on the phones. 


Create a new vision for yourself that will crowd out the old one. You're rewriting the story of your life and experiencing in advance so your subconscious mind can go to work and make it all happen for you.

What will be the signs of change that you can measure?

You'll start feeling more energetic. You'll see more self-discipline, passion, enthusiasm, and desire. You'll see yourself making stronger, more confident choices. You won't allow anyone, especially not yourself, to get in your way of your daily success habits. 

ACTION STEPS:
1. Pause in front of your dream board at least twice a day. Close your eyes and experience the emotions. 

2. Set a goal for yourself of doing this for 30 days straight, and keep track of the changes in yourself so you can share them with anyone on your team who resists making their dream board.

"My Xyngular® income lets me help kids"



I have a heart for helping kids. So my Xyngular income gives me a platform to give back in our community to the Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership class for teens, the Salem-Keizer Education Foundation Enrichment Academy for after school programs, our church youth group, and Family Building Blocks, which serves families with infants and young children who are struggling with difficult life circumstances.

I am so proud of the efforts of my team. I give them credit for the growth of my business! I love them all. 

I believe in continuing my education and growth to strive for excellence as a leader. I wish that for my team and for this wonderful industry. This includes plugging in to conference calls, attending all corporate events, reading books, and taking both online and on site classes that relate to growing my business. 

Recently I attended the Dani Johnson First Steps to Success seminar in Las Vegas with Christine Bertucci and Deb Meyers from my team. It was life changing, and I'm encouraging all of my team members to plug into her training calls and attend her live events. Jill Yacobucci first introduced me to Dani's website and training tools, and I'll be forever grateful to her for that!

I'm also taking an online class from Suzanne Evans, a successful business coach. Both of these women are brilliant, and I'm like a sponge soaking this all in. The tools I'm getting help me in all aspects of my life, not just my business.
Last but not least I receive coaching from Kristin Thompson twice a month. She's really helped me grow my business by teaching me unique ways to appeal to the needs of prospects. 

There's a common thread throughout all these trainings, and it's fascinating to weave it together and make it fit my own personality and style.

There are two tools I've really been focusing on in the past month, one is FORMing people. This tool helps you establish trust and shows you what the person's needs are. FORM is an acronym for Family, Occupation, Recreation and Message.
I'm practicing getting to know people better by asking questions on those subjects and using their answers to "close" them.
The other is using a tool for different personalities and learning to speak the language of each particular personality style. Dani Johnson divides them into four "gems" ... Sapphire, Pearl, Emerald, and Ruby. 

You can FORM people and find out what personality type they are. This tells you how to best present the business and products to them. Interestingly enough we attract mostly people of our same personality type into our business, but we need to remember that we need all four types in our business because they all have different strengths. That's what makes a good, strong team! Christine, Deb and I will be attending Dani's next seminar called Building a Dynasty. It will be held in December in Dallas, Texas, and I can't wait to have more new tools!

A number of people have been instrumental in my Xyngular growth including Freddy Elias my mentor, Cala Stadel, Jill Yacobucci and all of our top leaders. I learn from them all. It's like a Master Mind. One Team, One Dream! It's fantastic that everyone shares so openly with everyone else. 

Marc Schenkel, Marc Walker, Glen Oliver, Cindy Hansen and Vikki Doran are always there to support and encourage me, and this has been so helpful! 

It hasn't always been peaches and cream, right? Life just isn't that way. I've had my ups and my downs and my plateaus. For quite some time my "legs" were out of balance while Carolyn Keith and Tami Castronovo's leg was running away. I was working like crazy to find more leadership to balance that. It was tough, and it didn't happen overnight. But Freddy kept encouraging me, and then all of a sudden I turned up some great new leaders who've taken off. 

Because I've experienced it, it makes me a better, stronger leader for my team. When I was in a plateau I had to ask myself what I should do. Obviously I was sponsoring but my numbers really weren't going up. 

I decided to take an approach that Freres Lumber Company uses when the market's down. They use that slow time to improve their equipment and all their systems so that when the market turns around they're ready to be at the top!
I relaxed, accepted that I was in a plateau and that it was temporary, and used the time to implement a fabulous new organizational system called "Simplify!" for my office. Again, it was life changing in all areas of my life. When my business took off again I was ready and organized for explosive growth.

When the Grammy's contest came up I got sick, my daughter Libby was in and out of the hospital with false labor, and with the help and support of Freddy and my team I was able to focus and still win those tickets! Truly, nothing is impossible if we want it badly enough. What a great lesson and how great the rewards were for that. We are only limited by our own thoughts, so practice dreaming big!

I'm so grateful that God brought this opportunity into my life, all of the new friends I've made here at Xyngular, and the opportunity to give back to others.
